Maui was beautiful,
and I loved being in paradise with my main man.
But what makes me even happier is waking up and seeing his sweet face each and every morning.
I'm the luckiest girl in the world,
to be married to such and incredible man.

Pack, Pack, Packing

I feel like all i do is pack.
We started packing on MONDAY and sadly just finished TODAY...
(all thanks to nicole and eric for their help)

And wanna know the funniest part?
It just hit me today that I am going to be unpacking it all in about a month.
Weird how I hadn't put that together yet right?

But don't feel too bad for us...
Cuz these Hyder's will be on a plane to Maui in 2 short days.
Staying at this Hotel,
and laying on this exact beach.

So tonight after we packed up everything and put it in our storage unit,
we remembered we had to put our ultra sensitive smoke alarm back on the ceiling.
BUT, we didn't have any chairs left in our apartment

so that is what we came up with...
And after we set him down I said "for a skinny guy you aren't exactly light weight"
He then informed me that just this semester his biceps are 2 inches bigger and his quads are 1/2 bigger.
So he defiantly NOT just skin and bones,

He's a stud.

Coconut Macaroons... anyone????

Ari, Hannah and I made coconut maccaroons today!

Is your mouth watering yet?
Cuz it should be.

Here. It. Goes.

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. In a small bowl mix together coconut, sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in egg whites and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Step 2
Grease a baking sheet and drop mixture by the rounded teaspoon onto the baking sheet.
Step 3
Bake at 325 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Allow to cool.

And VOILLLLLA!

A little chocolate drizzle never hurt anyone, right?

We undercooked our a bit,
but if you cook them a little longer they will look like these babies...

p.s. this recipe only made a dozen!

Yep, i'm 21.

Saturday was my 21st birthday...
And it couldn't have been better!
We started the day with some fresh doughnuts that were seriously BOMB.

Then Ari, Hannah and I,  oh and yes... even Andrew went to get pedicures.
Next we went to mall and I was lucky enough to get a few little things before heading over to the best thing in Idaho...

TEXAS ROADHOUSE.

My beautiful Hyder sisters.

mmm mmm mmm!
It was absolutely divine in every way possible.

...we ate almost every single thing on the table.

Eric, Ari and Hannah even got food babies.

But I'm thinking Hannah's might be a real baby...
I guess what happens in Arizona doesn't stay in Arizona.
Right ted?
;)

Birthday Weekend!

For Andrews birthday we decided to head down to provo to start the party early.

On friday we went bowling....

Saturday we went to Macaroni Grill for dinner to celebrate.

Then we went to the JAZZ game in Salt Lake City...

For the half time show, older ladies 75+ preformed a choreographed routine... it was hilarious.

...and the oldest lady ended in the splits!

somehow all three of them wore light blue dress shirts...

 my man :)

Our seats were basically as high as they get, but we had a blast!

 models? or gay lovers?

Mine's a model ;)

Thanks for letting us stay with you Eric and Ari!
We had so much seeing all of our family and friends.

We'll be back next weekend to see Josh open his mission call!

MARCH SEVENTH...

Today was my Andrew's 22ed birthday!

And i wanted to give him the best thing I could think of...
so what better than a vacation...
in MAUI?

ok, not really....
But we are going to Maui for our better late than never honeymoon next month,
and we couldn't be more excited.
It might just be all we ever think about.

For Andrews birthday dinner, I made his favorite meal.
It doesnt have a name, but it consists of only 4 ingredients...
- mashed potatoes
- steamed broccoli
-hot dogs
- beef gravy

It looks mouth watering right?
I will admit I was very nervous, but its actually good.
However, I doubt I will ever crave it.
When I told Andrew this he said, "ya i don't think my mom has ever craved it in 20 years, but she still makes it  every year".
And that sounds good to me :)

Happy Birthday to the most amazing man in the world...
 I love you.
